Role Description

• The Accountant at Cirvee will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
• The role involves monitoring budgets, tracking income and expenses, supporting payroll, and ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• The Accountant will assist with financial reporting for management, help prepare documentation for audits, and ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and regulations.
• The position includes collaborating with other teams to provide financial insights, support planning, and improve internal controls.
• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ibadan.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Strong skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic financial analysis.
• Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and support cash flow monitoring.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Ability to work on-site in Ibadan, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle multiple deadlines.
• Experience in an educational or service-based organization is beneficial, as well as familiarity with local tax and regulatory requirements.
