How to apply for Nigerian Army recruitment

The Army runs annual recruitment via Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) streams (currently 86-91 RRI) at recruitment.army.mil.ng.

  1. Visit the portal and create an account.
  2. Select your preferred trade/cadre (combatant, non-combatant tradesman).
  3. Complete the application with personal, educational and biometric data.
  4. Upload your SSCE results, LGA ID, birth certificate and passport photo.
  5. Submit and print the acknowledgement slip - carry it to the screening venue.

Eligibility

  • Nigerian citizen (both parents Nigerian)
  • Age 18-22 for non-tradesman, 18-26 for tradesman
  • SSCE/NECO 5 credits including English & Maths
  • Height: 1.68m (men), 1.65m (women)
  • No criminal record, medically fit
