Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative, proactive, and results-driven Brand Communications Manager to oversee the brand's social media presence, content creation, and digital communications.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating the brand's identity, products, services, and values into engaging content that educates audiences, builds trust, strengthens brand awareness, and supports business growth.
• We are looking for someone who can develop content ideas, create and edit engaging visual content, manage social media platforms, and maintain a consistent brand voice across digital channels.
• Candidates must be comfortable with both planning and executing content, from concept development and production to publishing and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:

• Manage and maintain the brand's social media accounts, ensuring a consistent and professional online presence.
• Develop and execute content calendars aligned with the brand's communication and marketing objectives.
• Schedule and publish content across relevant platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other applicable channels.
• Monitor comments, direct messages, audience engagement, and relevant customer enquiries.
• Track social media performance and prepare regular reports on reach, engagement, audience growth, and content effectiveness.

Content Creation and Production:

• Develop creative content ideas for educational posts, product promotions, brand campaigns, and audience engagement.
• Plan, film, and edit short-form videos, reels, stories, and other social media content.
• Write engaging captions, scripts, headlines, and other brand communication materials.
• Create or coordinate the production of graphics and other visual assets using appropriate design tools.
• Capture relevant behind-the-scenes footage, product demonstrations, team activities, and brand experiences.
• Repurpose content into different formats to maximise reach and engagement.
• Maintain high standards of visual quality, accuracy, and consistency across published content.

Brand Communication and Campaigns:

• Communicate the brand's identity, values, products, and services clearly and consistently.
• Develop educational and promotional content that supports audience trust and informed skincare decisions.
• Support product launches, promotional activities, events, and other marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the relevant teams to obtain accurate product information and communicate it effectively.
• Ensure skincare-related content is responsible, accurate, and aligned with approved brand messaging.
• Identify relevant trends and opportunities to improve content visibility without compromising the brand's identity.

Performance and Growth:

• Review content performance and use insights to improve future content.
• Monitor relevant social media trends, competitor activity, and audience interests.
• Recommend new content formats, campaigns, and communication strategies.
• Contribute ideas that strengthen brand awareness, audience engagement, customer relationships, and business objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must currently reside in Lagos, Nigeria.
• Proven experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing, brand communications, or a related field.
• A portfolio of previous work demonstrating relevant skills and creativity.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Practical experience creating and editing social media content, especially short-form videos.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or equivalent content creation and editing applications.
• Understanding of social media platforms, content formats, publishing schedules, and audience engagement.
• Ability to plan content, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and initiative.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Willingness to receive feedback and improve content based on brand objectives and performance insights.
