We are seeking to employ a Builder who will be responsible for coordinating site activities and alsofor the interior finishing of residential and commercial buildings according to specifications and blueprints
Description
To handle finishing works in assigned projects
Interpret and study construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Perform various construction tasks with an eye for detail.
Check the quality of all the materials received on site and prepare quality reports and defects, if any
Implement and ensure maintenance of quality management systems for projects
Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
To coordinate testing of materials wherever applicable and ensure specified quality standards are adhered to.
Ensure that projects are completed within budget and time constraints.
Monitor project progress, identify any potential issues, and recommend solutions to ensure quality and timely completion.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety standards are met.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal building regulations.
Job Requirements
Minimum of an HND / B.Sc in Building
Certification as a Builder will be an added advantage
Minimum of 5 years experience in managing large building projects, preferably at the finishing stage
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and tools.
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Excellent Time management skills
A good understanding of HSE duties
On-site construction planning and management
Strong Finishing background with an eye for detail
