CNG Station Operator

Location: Arepo, close to Mowe, Ogun

Job Summary

• We are seeking a competent CNG Station Operator to operate and monitor the station's equipment, including compressors, dispensers, storage cascades, and control systems.
• The successful candidate will ensure safe operations, maintain equipment performance, and comply with established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNG compressors, dispensers, storage cascades, and associated equipment.
• Monitor operating pressure, temperature, gas flow, and equipment performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and report gas leaks, equipment faults, or other abnormalities.
• Perform equipment start-up and shutdown in line with operating procedures.
• Maintain daily operational logs, inspection checklists, and shift reports.
• Support routine maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team when faults occur.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure emergency systems and firefighting equipment are in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the station.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in CNG station operations, industrial gas facilities, oil and gas, or a similar industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of compressors, high-pressure gas systems, and pressure control equipment.
• Ability to read gauges, monitor control panels, and record operating parameters.
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and emergency response.
• Ability to identify operational faults and report them promptly.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in CNG operations, industrial safety, or equipment operation will be an added advantage.
