Job Summary

• We are currently seekiing for a responsibleDriver to join our team and contribute postitively to the work environment.
• The Company's Driver will be responsible for safely driving the company vehicle to deliver goods to customers, distributors, and other designated locations. The role also involves ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in good condition, while maintaining the vehicle properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle safely to deliver goods to customers and distributors.
• Ensure that goods loaded onto the vehicle match the delivery documents before departure.
• Deliver goods to the correct locations within the agreed timeframe.
• Report any delivery issues, delays, damaged goods, or customer complaints to the supervisor.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Ensure that all vehicle documents, including the driver's licence, are valid and up to date.
• Follow traffic rules, company driving procedures, and road safety requirements.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and delivery activities as required.
• Protect company property and goods entrusted to the driver.
• Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers, distributors, and other members of the public.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Previous experience as a company or delivery driver, preferably in an FMCG or distribution company.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and other assigned delivery routes.
• Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and manage delivery schedules.
• Good time management, honesty, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
