Job Title: Compliance Monitoring Unit Officer
Location: Kogi
Job Description
The successful candidate(s) will support the company in monitoring adherence to established policies, procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Conduct routine compliance checks across branches, departments, and operational locations.
Review records and activities to identify deviations from approved procedures.
Document compliance findings and prepare reports for Management.
Follow up on identified compliance issues and monitor corrective actions.
Conduct field and operational monitoring as assigned.
Review adherence to sales, stock, cash-handling, attendance, documentation, and operational procedures.
Identify potential compliance risks and escalate them appropriately.
Maintain accurate records of compliance inspections and findings.
Support internal investigations into reported policy violations where assigned.
Work with relevant departments to improve compliance and reduce operational risks.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
Provide recommendations for strengthening internal controls and compliance processes.
Carry out other compliance-monitoring responsibilities assigned by Management.
Requirements
Minimum of B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or another relevant discipline.
Relevant professional certification is an advantage.
Previous experience in Compliance, Audit, Risk Management, Internal Control, Quality Assurance, or a related field is required.
Masters degree is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong report-writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and conduct field monitoring when required.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
