Lifemate Nigeria Limited is a professional furniture multinational corporation with 14 outlets distributed across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Warri and with core competencies in different types of furniture, like kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, bedroom furniture, hotel furniture, office furniture, dining set, light fittings, jacuzzi, steam box, shower cubicles, outdoor rattan products, interior decoration and so on.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious Driver to provide safe and efficient service.
• The Driver will be responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle, following traffic regulations, and ensuring timely arrival at destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle.
• Conduct routine checks of the vehicle, including tyres, oil, brakes, lights, and fuel levels.
• Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Plan routes and use navigation tools to avoid unnecessary delays.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with passengers or company information.
• Ensure all required vehicle documents, licences, and insurance are valid.
• Perform other driving-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
• Proven experience as a professional or company driver.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations.
• Clean driving record.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
