Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson notes, instructional materials, assessments, and schemes of work.
• Assess, record, and report students' academic progress and learning outcomes.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive student behaviour.
• Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate support for students with different learning needs.
• Integrate practical activities, instructional aids, and technology to enhance learning.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and other academic records.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, school events, and extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Promote students' moral development, discipline, safety, and general wellbeing in line with the school's values.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school management to improve learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND in Education or a relevant subject area; a teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Relevant teaching experience is an advantage.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom delivery skills.
• Good communication, organisation, classroom management, and assessment skills.
• Ability to use appropriate teaching aids and technology to support learning.
• Professionalism, patience, integrity, creativity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and uphold the school's academic standards and values.
