Job Title: Head, Internal Audit and Risk Management
Location: Lagos

About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to lead our Internal Audit and Risk Management functions.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks, while supporting the Board and Management in safeguarding the Company's assets, reputation, and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute risk-based audit plans across business functions.
- Evaluate internal controls, governance, compliance, and ERM frameworks.
- Lead enterprise-wide risk assessment, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting.
- Investigate fraud, control breaches, and operational irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with NAICOM regulations and internal policies.
- Present audit and risk reports to Executive Management and the Board Audit & Risk Committee.
- Engage regulators, external auditors, and key stakeholders.
Qualification/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certification: ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CFE, ACIIN/FCIIN, CRMP, or equivalent.
- BA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- 2+ years' relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management.
- Strong knowledge of insurance operations, corporate governance, internal audit, ERM, and regulatory compliance.
