Lead Reservoir Engineer

NexPro Energy is a fully integrated and capable of managing any oil and gas delivery project from start to finish - ranging from prospect identification to asset decommissioning and restoration. We are an independent exploration and production company with a growing upstream portfolio. Our immediate focus is an offshore marginal field in Nigeria preparing for first oil, and we are building the subsurface capability to carry it through development and producing life.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lead Reservoir Engineer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:

• Own the reservoir engineering requirements for well data acquisition — formation pressure points, fluid sampling and well test design — and lead the interpretation that follows
• Build and maintain the reservoir performance model through the Extended Well Test, and mature the reservoir understanding as the data set grows
• Own the field's volumetric and resource basis, maturing contingent resources to reserves as commerciality is established
• Take ownership of the production forecast and keep the field's economics and breakeven model aligned to it
• Lead the reservoir engineering input into the post-first-oil Field Development Plan, and own reservoir management and surveillance through field life.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline
• 6+ years in reservoir engineering, including a well test or EWT interpretation, or a first-oil start-up
• Resource and reserves classification under SPE-PRMS, including the commerciality tests that move volumes to reserves
• Production forecasting tied into an economics model.
