We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mining Safety Manager
Location: Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA - Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Requirements
MSc or Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or another related field.
Strong knowledge of mining safety regulations, HSE standards, risk assessment, and hazard management.
Proven experience developing and implementing Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
Ability to conduct site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
Knowledge of mining equipment, drilling, blasting, excavation, and heavy-duty machinery safety.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise workers.
Ability to develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency response procedures.
Experience monitoring compliance with government regulations and company safety standards.
Relevant professional HSE/Safety certification will be an added advantage.
Must be willing to work on-site in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State.
Strong commitment to zero-accident culture, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 / month.
