Personal Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Personal Driver to provide dedicated driving services for an individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, comfortable, and timely transportation while maintaining the assigned vehicle in excellent condition.

We are looking for someone who is punctual, discreet, courteous, and familiar with navigating Lagos roads and traffic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation to the employer for official and personal engagements.
• Plan routes ahead of trips to avoid unnecessary delays and navigate Lagos traffic efficiently.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's movements, personal affairs, and private information.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable, fuelled, and in excellent working condition at all times.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Ensure timely servicing, valid vehicle documentation, insurance, and roadworthiness.
• Observe all traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Assist with errands, pickups, drop-offs, and other driving-related duties as required.
• Monitor traffic updates and adjust routes when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel purchases, vehicle maintenance, and other approved vehicle-related expenses.
• Demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours when required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a personal, executive, or corporate driver.
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence with an appropriate vehicle category.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes.
• Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to road safety.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and the ability to identify potential mechanical issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and time management.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional boundaries.
• Must be physically fit for the demands of the role.
• Previous experience driving for an executive, business owner, or private individual is an added advantage.
