We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons in line with the British curriculum.
  • Teach practical sports, physical fitness, teamwork and healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including relevant Cambridge IGCSE Physical Education examinations where applicable.
  • Organise and supervise sporting activities, inter-house competitions and school sports events.
  • Monitor students’ physical development, assess performance and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure students’ safety during all physical activities and uphold appropriate safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience teaching P.E. in a British curriculum school.
  • Knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Physical Education curriculum is an advantage.
  • Strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate students of different abilities and promote participation, discipline and sportsmanship.
  • Current knowledge of sports safety and student safeguarding practices.
