We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement & Material Coordinator
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase construction materials, tools, and consumables from reliable suppliers
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and recommend the best options
- Prepare and track purchase orders from request to delivery
- Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered to site against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Manage site store operations, including storage, issuance, and security of materials
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, material usage, and site inventory
- Coordinate with the site engineer, project manager, and site supervisors to understand daily and weekly material requirements
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve shortages, damages, or quality issues
- Prepare material reconciliation and procurement reports
- Keep proper documentation, including invoices, waybills, requisitions, and supplier records.
Requirements
- OND/HND/BSc in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Building Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or material coordination, preferably on a construction or site project
- Good knowledge of building and construction materials and local suppliers/markets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work on-site and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Honest, organised, and detail-oriented
- Must reside in or around Sangotedo axis (e.g., Ajah, Awoyaya, Abraham Adesanya, Lekki-Epe corridor).
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
