Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily production operations within our FMCG company.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining product quality standards, optimizing resources, minimizing production downtime, and ensuring that production targets are achieved in line with company objectives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Reduction in production downtime, material wastage, and operational costs.
- Compliance with product quality standards and safety procedures.
- Improvement in production efficiency and equipment utilization.
- Reduction in product defects, rejects, and rework.
- Effective workforce management and productivity.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in production management within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial production role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and manufacturing operations.
- Good understanding of GMP, quality control procedures, workplace safety, and production documentation.
- Experience managing production teams and monitoring production performance indicators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of ERP or production management systems is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Remuneration
N400,000 – N450,000 net monthly, depending on experience and qualifications.
