Avoris Consultancy is recruiting a Project Officer for a registered Nigerian foundation based in Abuja that works on  health, education and community welfare. The foundation will employ the successful candidate directly.

Contract: 12 months, renewable subject to performance and funding
Salary: ₦150,000 per month
Location: Abuja (mainly remote)

What you’ll do

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver programme activities to schedule and budget
  • Engage communities, partners, volunteers and beneficiaries
  • Collect and manage programme data; support monitoring and evaluation
  • Write activity reports, case stories and donor or partner updates
  • Manage logistics, procurement requests and records for events and outreach
  • Keep accurate files on beneficiaries, attendance and expenditure
  • Support fundraising, proposal writing and communications as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, development studies or a related field
  • 1–3 years’ experience in project coordination or programme support with an NGO, foundation or development organisation (NYSC experience in this sector counts)
  • Strong written English and report writing
  • Good working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Docs, Sheets, Excel)
  • Organised, reliable and comfortable working independently and with communities
