TrulyAsake is a Lagos-based fashion and clothing brand founded and led by creative designer Asake, specializing in ready-to-wear (RTW), bridal, and custom-made apparel.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Quality Control Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)
Job Summary
- We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and experienced Quality Control Officer to join our team and ensure every piece that leaves TrulyAsake meets our high standards for craftsmanship, fit, finishing and overall quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect Finished Pieces: Thoroughly check all garments for accurate measurements, stitching, finishing and overall quality before delivery.
- Ensure Compliance with Specifications: Confirm that all pieces match design details, fabric type, client requirements and TrulyAsake's quality standards.
- Work with the Production Team: Identify and communicate quality issues early, provide feedback and ensure corrections are made before final delivery.
- Maintain Quality Records: Keep accurate records of inspections, defect reports and corrective actions.
- Identify and Prevent Recurring Issues: Analyse common quality problems and suggest practical solutions to improve production processes.
- Oversee Final Packing: Ensure all pieces are properly pressed, labelled and packaged to maintain TrulyAsake's presentation standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the Production Lead and management to maintain and improve quality control systems.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in quality control within fashion production.
- Strong eye for detail and a high standard for finishing. Good knowledge of garment construction, fittings and fabric types.
- Proactive, assertive and solution-driven.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Reliable, accountable and able to work independently. Passionate about maintaining excellence and protecting the TrulyAsake brand.
Remuneration
Very competitive pay (based on experience and ability).
