The idea to create Westcare Hospital group was conceived in 1997. This idea was brought to fruition in May 1998 when the first hospital was founded and named Ilogbo central Hospital. The hospital was named after Ilogbo town near Ajangbadi, Ojo LGA of Lagos in which the hospital was situated.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Radiographer

Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Radiographer will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imagingwhile ensuring patient safety, professionalism, and adherence to operational standards.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong technical competence and good patient management skill.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, operating X-ray, Ultrasound equipmentto produce diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients appropriately for radiological procedures.
  • Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain quality diagnostic images.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
  • Work collaboratively withother healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor imaging equipment performance and promptly report faults or operational concerns.
  • Ensure timely delivery of imaging services to expediate efficient patient turnaround time.
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent patient care at all times.

Requirements

  • Degree in Radiography or Radiation Sciencefrom a recognized institution.
  • Valid practicing license and registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
  • Experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment is required.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and imaging procedures.
  • Good communication and patient management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Must be professional, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Must reside within Egbeda and its immediate environs.

Salary
N500,000 - N550,000 monthly.
