We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sectional Accountant (Entry Level)

Location: Emene, Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Sectional Accountant to support financial record-keeping, transaction monitoring and reporting within our manufacturing operations.
  • The ideal candidate should be numerate, accurate, willing to learn and capable of maintaining proper financial records in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for the assigned production section or department.
  • Record and monitor daily transactions, expenses and other financial activities.
  • Reconcile financial records with relevant source documents and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor inventory-related transactions and assist with stock reconciliation.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and submit them within stipulated deadlines.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, unusual transactions or missing documentation.
  • Work with the Accounts, Stores, Production and Audit teams to ensure proper documentation and accountability.
  • Support internal checks and other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
  • Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
  • High attention to detail, integrity and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work on-site in Emene, Enugu State, Monday to Saturday.

Added Advantage:

  • Previous exposure to audit, inventory control, stock reconciliation or manufacturing operations.

Salary
N12,000 / Month.
