We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Senior HSE Supervisor / Coordinator
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities


  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day HSE operations across sites, ensuring compliance with PTW, JSA, and PPE standards.
  • Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure critical risk activities (lifting, hot works, working at height) have valid permits.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, injuries using root cause analysis techniques and prepare HSE Incident Reports.
  • Maintain HSE registers (Incident Log, PPE Register, Training Log, Environmental Log) and submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Review and approve Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
  • Ensure environmental compliance, waste management, spill control, emission control, sustainability logs and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Supervise HSE Officers and assistants, assign tasks, review reports, and monitor their performance

Requirements

  • B.Sc. / HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management or related discipline.
  • 7-10 years in HSE roles within Oil & Gas, Construction, Fabrication, EPC, or Marine sectors.
  • HSE Level 1-3 or NEBOSH IGC (Required), Knowledge of ISO 45001/14001 Standard and Internal Auditor (Preferred), First Aid & Fire Safety certified.
  • Proficiency in HSE risk assessment, PTW systems, incident investigation (Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why), leadership, communication, knowledge of Nigerian safety regulations and client HSE requirements.
