We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Slickline Supervisor

Location: Nigeria

Purpose

  • Lead the slickline crew on site and make sure every intervention is planned, rigged, pressure-tested and executed safely to programme.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the platform and FPSO personnel affected by each job, and coordinate all services supplied.
  • Supervise equipment rig-up, pressure testing, operation and rig-down.
  • Review job programmes, tool strings and contingencies before each run, and hold pre-job and toolbox meetings.
  • Own the permit to work, JSA and well-control barriers for slickline operations.
  • Direct routine and complex jobs: plugs and prongs, SSD shifting, TRSSV lock-out, gas lift valve and PBV change-out, swabbing and sand bailing.
  • Provide well-site data to NEPL's representatives, and prepare and distribute detailed end-of-well reports.
  • Coach operators and assistants, and sign off their competence records.

Requirements

  • Education: OND, HND or B.Sc Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of slickline operations, including 3+ years as a supervisor; offshore or platform experience.
  • Certifications: IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control – Wireline, Supervisor level, plus the standard offshore set.
  • Skills: leadership, slickline pressure control equipment, tool string design and report writing.
