We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Social Media Manager who understands fashion, content and digital audiences.
The ideal candidate will bring strong creative judgment, a clear point of view and the confidence to challenge ideas where necessary, while developing content that strengthens the brand and drives engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a social media strategy to grow the brand's online presence across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others as needed)
Create original photo and video content that showcases the brand, its offerings, and its story
Plan, schedule, and manage day-to-day posting across all social media accounts
Respond promptly and professionally to messages, comments, and DMs across all platforms
Monitor trends and identify opportunities to keep the brand's content fresh and engaging
Track performance metrics and adjust content strategy based on what's working
Coordinate with the wider team to align content with new arrivals, promotions, and brand milestones
Attend and capture content at physical shoots, events, and other brand activities as required
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years' experience in social media management
Strong photography and videography skills, with the ability to shoot and edit content independently
Proven experience managing social media accounts and growing an online audience
Excellent written communication skills for captions, responses, and community engagement
Familiarity with content trends across Instagram, TikTok, and other major platforms
Ability to work onsite, with availability for physical shoots and events, including outside regular hours where necessary
Strong understanding of fashion, fabrics, and the target fashion consumer, with the ability to translate products into compelling social media content.
Strong creative judgment and a clear point of view, with the confidence to recommend what will and will not work for the brand.
Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how social media content can drive enquiries, engagement, and sales, not just followers.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling and content that creates desire around fashion and fabrics.
Ability to distinguish meaningful trends from trends that do not align with the brand.
A strong portfolio or examples of previous work.
Remuneration
Competitive salary ₦300,000 – ₦350,000 monthly
Transportation allowance for offsite activities (e.g., shoots, events, brand engagements).
