The Role

This is not simply a content-posting role.

You will be responsible for understanding each client\'s business, audience and objectives, then turning that understanding into social media activity that supports visibility, engagement, positioning and business growth.

You will work closely with the Brand Management teams to ensure that social media is strategically aligned with the wider client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage monthly social media strategies and content calendars for assigned accounts.
  • Research clients, industries, competitors, audiences and relevant trends.
  • Develop content ideas and briefs that align with business and communication objectives.
  • Write and adapt social media copy for different platforms and audiences.
  • Coordinate with designers, video producers and other creatives to ensure content is delivered on schedule.
  • Manage publishing and scheduling across relevant platforms.
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions and overall community activity.
  • Track social media performance and identify what is working, what is not, and what should change.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client visibility, engagement and positioning.
  • Stay informed on platform changes, emerging formats, relevant trends and competitor activity.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging and visual direction across accounts.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute strategic ideas where required.
  • Proactively identify opportunities beyond the existing content plan that could support client growth.

What We\'re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts professionally.
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning and audience development.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to turn business objectives into practical social media strategies.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
  • Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts.
  • Good understanding of brand positioning and digital communication.
  • Ability to work effectively with designers, content producers and other team members.

You Will Stand Out If You

  • Can show measurable results from accounts you have managed.
  • Understand that social media is a business tool, not just a posting channel.
  • Can identify why content is underperforming and recommend what to do differently.
  • Can develop original content ideas rather than relying entirely on trends.
  • Have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of brand consistency.

Questions about applying

They see your structured profile as it stands at the moment you apply, plus your CV if you have one attached. That snapshot is frozen - if you edit your profile next week, this application still shows what you sent today. Your salary expectation is never sent unless you choose to include it.
Yes. The match figure is for you, not for them - Lida does not see it. The apply button works the same regardless of your match percentage.
Because boards rewrite titles when they republish. All copies of this vacancy are the same job at the same employer with the same closing date. We show the employer's own wording and list the rest above so you know you have already seen it.
It appears in your application tracker straight away. Because this application is handled here rather than on an external site, you will see the status change as Lida moves it - viewed, shortlisted, interviewing or declined. Roles that redirect to an employer's own site cannot be tracked that way, and we say so on those listings.
This employer has not yet been checked against the corporate register. Regardless of any of that, no employer on this platform may ask you for money at any stage. If this one does, report it and tell us what they asked for.
