We are recruiting trade trainers to deliver hands-on training aligned with National Skills Qualification (NSQ) / NBTE standards, leading students to government-recognised trade certification.
The first six months (January–June 2027) are a taster phase — all students rotate through every trade in groups. Each student then chooses one trade and trains in it intensively for approximately one year, through to certification readiness. Trainers deliver both phases: broad foundation teaching to rotating groups, then in-depth training to their dedicated cohort.

  • Deliver structured, hands-on training in the assigned trade to national (NSQ/NBTE) standards
  • Develop a practical training plan covering the full programme, from foundation skills to certification readiness
  • Assess students continuously and build each student's assessment evidence portfolio as required for NSQ certification
  • Manage tools, materials, and workshop safety; keep accurate usage and inventory records
  • Instil professional work habits: punctuality, finishing, quality, and customer mindset
  • Work within the school's Catholic ethos and residential routine
  • Recognised trade qualification and a minimum of 3 years' proven practical experience in the trade — a portfolio and practical demonstration will be required at interview
  • NSQ Level 3 certification in the trade, OR demonstrable competence with willingness to obtain NSQ Level 3 through Recognition of Prior Learning (school-supported); attainment of certification is a condition of confirmed engagement
  • Prior experience training apprentices or students preferred
  • Female candidates preferred, given the residential setting

Questions about applying

They see your structured profile as it stands at the moment you apply, plus your CV if you have one attached. That snapshot is frozen - if you edit your profile next week, this application still shows what you sent today. Your salary expectation is never sent unless you choose to include it.
Yes. The match figure is for you, not for them - Insolitus Nigeria Ltd does not see it. The apply button works the same regardless of your match percentage.
Because boards rewrite titles when they republish. All copies of this vacancy are the same job at the same employer with the same closing date. We show the employer's own wording and list the rest above so you know you have already seen it.
It appears in your application tracker straight away. Because this application is handled here rather than on an external site, you will see the status change as Insolitus Nigeria Ltd moves it - viewed, shortlisted, interviewing or declined. Roles that redirect to an employer's own site cannot be tracked that way, and we say so on those listings.
This employer has not yet been checked against the corporate register. Regardless of any of that, no employer on this platform may ask you for money at any stage. If this one does, report it and tell us what they asked for.
