Wax Studio is a new boutique wax and aesthetic studio in Lagos dedicated to precision hair removal and advanced intimate care. We deliver comfortable, hygiene first waxing alongside specialized skin treatments in a calm, discreet, and thoughtfully designed environment.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Wax and Skin Therapist

Location: Opebi, Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (6 days a week)

Job Overview

  • We are seeking a detail oriented, professional Wax and Skin Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high quality waxing services alongside targeted intimate and body skincare treatments.
  • The ideal candidate takes pride in spotless hygiene, gentle and efficient technique, and exceptional client comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full body and intimate hair removal services, with an emphasis on hot and hard waxing techniques (Hollywood, Brazilian, underarms, and body).
  • Execute intimate skin care protocols, including cleansing, gentle exfoliation, extractions, high frequency wand applications, and soothing mask treatments.
  • Maintain strict sanitation and clinical hygiene standards at all times across all treatments and station turnovers.
  • Conduct client consultations and communicate aftercare recommendations clearly.
  • Keep treatment supplies, back bar products, and client areas organized and stocked.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 1 year experience.
  • Proven hands on experience as a Wax Therapist, Esthetician, or Beauty Therapist in a professional salon, spa, or clinic setting.
  • Strong proficiency in intimate waxing using hard wax.
  • Familiarity with basic esthetic treatments, extractions, and mask applications.
  • Warm, respectful, and discreet interpersonal communication skills.
  • High commitment to punctuality and professional presentation.
