Common questions
Can I apply to all four? Only to one at a time per cycle. If you don't make the shortlist, you can try a sister service in the next cycle.
Which service pays best? Pay bands are broadly similar across the four (Grade Level 03-07 depending on entry cadre). Promotion speed and deployment postings differ.
Does my height matter at the exact threshold? Yes - height is physically measured at screening. A 1.66m male applicant for NSCDC will be rejected even if the application went through.
After you submit
- Follow the CDCFIB news feed for status updates.
- Expect a physical screening in your preferred service's zonal centre.
- Shortlist is published as a PDF on cdcfib.gov.ng - verify directly, not via WhatsApp forwards.
