Job Title: Account Officer (Commercial Lighting)

Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer to manage the financial records and transactions for our commercial lighting business.
• The ideal candidate will oversee invoicing, posting, bank reconciliation, and management accounting. The role requires strong numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work with financial systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Generate and issue invoices to clients for lighting products and services.
• Post financial transactions accurately into the accounting system.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare management accounting reports, including cost analysis and budget tracking.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams on order and revenue tracking.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing, posting, bank reconciliation, and management accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
