Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations, including cost accounting, inventory control, budgeting, and financial reporting for our furniture manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• ‎Maintain accurate books of accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• ‎Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• ‎Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Company Income Tax).

‎Manufacturing & Cost Accounting:

• ‎Calculate accurate cost of production for each furniture piece (wood, laminate, hardware, labour, overheads)
• ‎Monitor raw material usage, wastage, and factory expenses
• ‎Conduct regular stock counts of raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods
• ‎Determine profitable pricing in collaboration with production and sales

‎Inventory & Operations Control:

• ‎Track inventory movement from store to workshop
• ‎Reconcile physical inventory with accounting records
• ‎Monitor asset management for factory machines and tools.

Budgeting & Analysis:

• ‎Prepare annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
• ‎Analyze production costs vs. budget and report variances
• ‎Advise management on cost reduction and profitability improvement.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 2 - 5 years of work experience.
