Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

• The accountant manages financial records, ensures compliance with accounting standards, and provides insights to support business decision-making. With 3-5 years of experience, this role requires advanced expertise in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budget management: Assist in budget planning and monitor expenditure against forecasts.
• Tax compliance: Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to tax laws.
• Audit support: Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
• Accounts reconciliation: Review and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.
• Financial analysis: Provide insights on cost control, profitability, and cash flow.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
