Job Title: Admin Officer / Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Admin Officer with an accounting background to support daily administrative operations, record-keeping, and basic accounting activities.
• The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, basic accounting principles, tax and statutory deductions, and the ability to accurately manage administrative and financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day administrative and office support activities.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and administrative documentation.
• Perform data entry and assist with basic reconciliation of financial and administrative records.
• Assist with the preparation and documentation of tax deductions, withholding tax (WHT), PAYE, VAT, and other applicable statutory deductions.
• Maintain proper records and supporting documents for tax and financial transactions.
• Assist in checking invoices and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Support the preparation of basic administrative, financial, and expense reports.
• Organise and maintain accurate documentation of transactions and office activities.
• Ensure records and spreadsheets are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, and company information.
• Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in an administrative, accounting, finance, or similar role.
• Strong practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping.
• Practical knowledge of taxation, PAYE, VAT, WHT, and basic statutory deductions.
• *Ability to use Excel for data entry, calculations, organising records, preparing reports, and basic reconciliation.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.

Salary 
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
