Job Title: Auto-Electrician (Rewire)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • HRLeverage Africa is recruiting an experienced Auto-Electrician (Rewire) for a client in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical faults, carrying out complete vehicle rewiring, and maintaining automotive electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in vehicles.
  • Carry out complete vehicle rewiring and repair damaged electrical wiring systems.
  • Install, maintain and repair vehicle electrical components, including batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems and wiring harnesses.
  • Inspect and test electrical systems to identify faults and ensure proper functionality.
  • Read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to maintain and repair vehicle electronic systems and electrical accessories.
  • Use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical problems.
  • Ensure all repairs and installations meet safety requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities and replaced components.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Auto-Electrician, particularly in vehicle rewiring.
  • Good knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quality results.
  • Relevant technical training or certification will be an added advantage.

Salary
N120,000 monthly.
