We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to provide technical support and manage the organisation’s IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain and troubleshoot computers, software and IT equipment
Provide technical support to staff, students and management
Maintain network, internet connectivity and communication systems
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
Manage user accounts, access permissions and system security
Support printers, scanners, projectors, CCTV and other IT equipment
Perform system updates, backups and security patches
Maintain IT asset records and technical documentation
Assist with IT projects and implementation of new technologies.
Requirements
HND / BSc Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field
3–5 years’ relevant IT experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in network administration and systems maintenance
Good communication skills
Maritime, Marine or Educational Institution experience is an added advantage
IT certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+ or MCP are an added advantage
Must be resident in Delta State.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Gross Monthly.
