We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

About the role

  • You are the face of Foodster at the till.
  • You will greet customers, ring up their items on the Eleo POS, take payment by cash, card or transfer, and make sure your cash balances at the end of every shift. You need to be friendly, honest and good with numbe
  • We will train you on the POS system.

What you’ll do

  • Greet every customer and help them find what they need
  • Ring up every sale on the POS — no sale without a receipt
  • Take cash, card (POS terminal) and bank transfer payments; confirm every transfer before the customer leaves
  • Count your float at the start and balance your till at the end of each shift
  • Suggest add-ons and promos (drinks, pastries, the deal of the day)
  • Keep the counter and display area clean and stocked
  • Report shortages, voids or refunds to your supervisor at once.

What we’re looking for

  • Can read, write and do simple maths confidently
  • Friendly and polite with customers
  • Honest — you will handle cash every day
  • Comfortable using a phone or tablet
  • Ready to work shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Cashier or shop experience is a plus, not required.
