We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Crew

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

About the role

• You will work in the Foodster kitchen preparing food, cooking orders and keeping the kitchen clean.
• We show you each menu item step by step, so you do not need to be a chef. What matters is that you work fast, follow instructions, and keep food safe and clean.
• You will work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

What you’ll do

• Wash, cut and prepare ingredients before each shift
• Cook and plate orders following the menu guide
• Keep hot food hot and cold food cold
• Label and date food in the fridge and freezer; use older stock first
• Wash dishes, pots and utensils; clean the kitchen at the end of every shift
• Help receive deliveries and put stock away
• Tell your supervisor about any spoilt food or broken equipment.

What we’re looking for

• Able to follow spoken and simple written instructions
• Can stand for long hours and work in a hot kitchen
• Ready to work shifts, weekends and holidays
• Clean, quick and a good team player
• Kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, not required
• Must be able to get a food handler's medical certificate.
