Job Title: Compliance Officer
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Officer to ensure that the organization operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying compliance risks, monitoring business operations, developing compliance procedures, and promoting ethical business practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure the company's operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct regular compliance reviews and internal audits.
Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to management.
Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
Investigate compliance-related issues and prepare reports.
Provide compliance training and guidance to employees.
Work closely with different departments to ensure adherence to company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in a compliance, audit, legal, or risk management role.
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
