Job Title: Junior Accountant 

Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance function of our yoghurt production factory in Egbeda, assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts
  • Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
  • Reconcile bank statements and petty cash accounts
  • Support in tracking raw material costs, inventory, and production expenses
  • Assist with payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for management
  • Assist with statutory remittances (PAYE, pension, VAT) and tax filings
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and support audit processes

Requirements / Qualifications

  • OND / HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1-2 years' relevant accounting experience (manufacturing/FMCG a plus)
  • Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Excel)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial reporting principles
  • Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Egbeda or its environs

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 monthly.
