Job Summary

• We will be direct about the position. Our social media is maintained consistently and produced to a sound standard. It reaches accounts beyond our existing following, so the content is being seen. What it does not do is convert. People encounter it and are not compelled to follow, to save, to share, or to make contact.
• We have assessed this carefully. It is not a production problem and it is not a reach problem. We need a better strategy behind what gets published, and that is the role.
• You would own positioning and content pillars, content direction and briefing, organic audience growth, and the interpretation of analytics into decisions. You would work with our existing Social Media Manager, who handles design, editing, scheduling and publishing. You direct that function rather than performing it. Applicants looking for a hands on production role should not apply.

Requirements

• The requirement that matters most to us is evidence. Not a portfolio of well made posts, but a named account you grew organically from a low base, with figures, over a defined period, because of decisions you made. Real estate experience is a strong advantage. Comfort with analytics is essential. Familiarity with international property markets, and with African diaspora audiences, would both count significantly in your favour.
• Two matters we will raise openly. Our principal operates under considerable time pressure and has limited appetite for appearing on camera, while the evidence suggests that content featuring the agent directly performs best. Part of this role is either solving that differently or making the case persuasively. And we have declined content proposals previously for being generic. The standard here is originality and relevance rather than volume.
• This is a part time independent contractor engagement of approximately ten hours per week, open to candidates based in Nigeria. There is a formal performance review at ninety days, and where agreed metrics are met, both compensation and scope will be reviewed upward.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 per month.
