Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company that specializes in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities with an office located in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Job Position: Cybersecurity Analyst

Role Summary

• We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect the organization’s systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats.
• The role involves security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, risk assessment, and implementation of security controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments for suspicious activity.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Analyze security logs and alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• Identify vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis.
• Investigate phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and other security events.
• Perform basic threat hunting and IOC analysis.
• Support incident-response procedures, including containment and recovery.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor user access, authentication, and privileged accounts.
• Assist with vulnerability scanning and penetration-testing activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents and investigations.
• Support compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, or CIS Controls.
• Keep up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

Required Skills:

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat types.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls, and networking.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux security.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic.
• Familiarity with EDR/XDR solutions.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and common attack techniques.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and risk assessment.
• Basic scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications are advantageous:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA CySA+
  • CEH
  • BTL1
  • CISSP
  • GIAC certifications
  • Microsoft security certifications.

Experience:

• Senior: 5+ years.
