Job Title: Dental Nurse / Dental Surgery Assistant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Prepare dental instruments, equipment, materials, and treatment rooms.
• Maintain strict sterilisation and infection-control standards.
• Support patient preparation, reassurance, and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and monitor dental supplies.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Dental Nursing, Dental Surgery Assisting, or a recognised oral-healthcare qualification.
• 2–3 years of practical dental-clinic experience.
• Recent, hands-on chairside dental-assisting experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments, materials, sterilisation, and infection control.
• Excellent patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Professional registration or certification where applicable.
• Basic Life Support certification is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as extended hours when required.
