Job Title: Drill Team Quality Representative II

Location: Nigeria

Description

  • Are you an experienced quality professional with a strong background in oilfield operations, drilling and completions engineering, and quality assurance? This could be your next career opportunity!
  • We are seeking a qualified professional to support the implementation of the Drill Team Quality Management Program, coordinate DTQR network activities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and quality management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Drill Team Quality Management Program.
  • Oversee contractors’ Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
  • Coordinate with company QA/QC teams during the goods manufacturing phase.
  • Implement and manage Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) and Deficiency Reporting (DR) systems.
  • Coordinate equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Manage documentation for purchased goods.
  • Coordinate and conduct Quality Management System assessments.
  • Provide guidance, tools, and support to DTQRs to achieve Drill Team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Previous experience in a related position and oilfield operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of quality assurance practices and industry standards, including API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, ASNT, and NACE.
  • Advanced knowledge of ASNT inspection practices and T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
  • Completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Course.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling and completions engineering, oilfield operations, and rig equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, business writing, and computer skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with teams and service providers.
