We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on generators, alternators, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Inspect electrical equipment and identify faults, defects, and potential failures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Monitor generator performance, voltage, current, frequency, power factor, and load distribution.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of automatic transfer switches (ATS), synchronizing panels, protection relays, and control systems.
  • Conduct electrical testing, insulation resistance tests, and continuity checks as required.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment and power generation systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
  • Identify recurring faults and recommend appropriate corrective and improvement measures.
  • Monitor equipment condition and recommend the replacement of defective or obsolete components.
  • Coordinate with mechanical engineers and other technical personnel to ensure the overall reliability of generating equipment.
