Role Overview
We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage construction costs, prepare accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenditure, and ensure effective cost control across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents.
Conduct material take-offs, measurements, and valuations.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure.
Evaluate contractors' quotations and payment applications.
Prepare interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.
Conduct site inspections and assess work progress.
Support procurement, contract administration, and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
B.Sc./HND in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification.
Relevant professional experience in building construction or real estate projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, measurement, and cost control.
Proficiency in relevant QS software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
Professional certification or membership of a recognised QS body is an advantage.
