We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Specialist
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
What You’ll Do
- Lead finance business partnership: budgeting, product pricing, financial modelling, unit economics, and project financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with contractual provisions on funded projects
- Own the month-end close, including journal entries and general ledgers in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Serve as point of contact for annual statutory audits
- Oversee bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and payroll processing
- Keep our financial data accurate and decision-ready
What You Bring
- A professional qualification: CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of combined experience in accounting, financial modelling, and financial operations, ideally in a social enterprise, the development sector, a top-tier accounting firm, or a fast-growing company
- Mastery of IFRS (US GAAP is a plus)
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, reporting, cashflow analysis, budgeting, taxation, month-end close, and product costing.
