Description
- We are seeking a qualified, licensed, and customer-oriented Community Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing professional pharmaceutical care, counseling patients on the safe use of medicines, and ensuring compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
- The ideal candidate should have strong pharmaceutical knowledge, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and safely.
- Review prescriptions to ensure appropriate dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and patient safety
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, possible side effects, dosage, and storage.
- Recommend suitable over-the-counter medications for minor ailments within the scope of professional practice.
- Monitor medication inventory, check expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled medicines, sales, and other pharmacy transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, professional ethics, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from a recognized institution.
- 3 years of post NYSC experience in community or retail pharmacy
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications, OTC products, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
