About the Programme

  • The Green Finance Project is a structured training programme designed to build advisory capacity at the intersection of energy and finance.
  • The programme focuses on enabling professionals to support clients in makinginformed, realistic, and responsible decisionsabout solar energy.
  • Become a Green Finance & Energy Advisor: Building advisory capacity for responsible access to solar energy for households and SMEs in Lagos.

  • 4-week full-time, in-person training in Abuja
  • Delivered by experienced Nigerian and International practitioners
  • Built around real client cases and field exposure
  • Focus on practical advisory capability — not just technical knowledge.

Programme Focus:
Participants are trained to connect:

  • Energy understanding- (solar systems, energy consumption, basic technical logic)
  • Financial assessment- (affordability, loan structuring, investment logic)
  • Client advisory- (clear communication, responsible guidance)
  • Project perspective- (from first discussion to implementation).

Target Group:

  • This programme is designed for individualswho areready to build capability across energy, finance, and project execution.

What participants will do

  • Analyse client energy needs
  • Support evaluation of solar investment options
  • Structure financially viable solutions
  • Work with real client cases and field situations
  • Contribute to responsible and transparent decision-making.

Requirements

  • B.Sc in any related role
  • Must have completed NYSC
  • Must be resident in Abuja and its environs
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
