They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Growth Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time
Proposed reporting line: Head of Marketing

The Role

  • As Growth Manager, you will own how Circo turns interest into active users, paying audiences, and repeat engagement. You will build and execute a growth roadmap across creator and audience acquisition, activation, retention, and monetisation, working closely with Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations.
  • This is a hands-on role for someone who can connect campaigns to product behaviour and commercial outcomes. You will identify where users drop off, test what changes their behaviour, and scale the approaches that deliver sustainable growth. The right person is analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable moving from strategy to execution.

What you will own

  • An integrated growth roadmap with clear priorities, hypotheses, budgets, and success measures across the creator and audience journeys.
  • Acquisition experiments across paid media, organic distribution, referrals, community, and partner-led channels.
  • Launch and go-to-market campaigns that connect the content proposition to creator sign-ups, audience conversion, and platform activity.
  • Activation and onboarding improvements with Product, helping creators publish and earn, and audiences discover content and complete their first meaningful action.
  • Lifecycle campaigns and retention programmes using email, in-app messaging, push notifications, and other supported channels.
  • Conversion experiments across landing pages, messaging, onboarding, and purchase journeys, working with Product and Revenue Operations on implementation.
  • Growth measurement with Product and analytics colleagues: event definitions, attribution, funnel analysis, cohort reporting, and reliable dashboards.
  • Campaign budgets and channel efficiency, tracking acquisition cost, conversion, retention, repeat purchase, and revenue contribution.
  • A disciplined experimentation process: prioritising tests, defining success upfront, documenting learning, and scaling or stopping initiatives based on evidence.
  • Clear briefs for Content Marketing, the Brand Storyteller, and external contributors so creative work supports specific growth objectives.

Requirements

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in growth, product marketing, performance marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
  • A track record of growing a digital product, marketplace, subscription business, or creator-led platform, with measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition, activation, retention, monetisation, and the relationship between growth and unit economics.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid campaigns and working with CRM or lifecycle tools.
  • Confidence using product and marketing analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or PostHog; ability to translate data into decisions.
  • Practical experience with funnel and cohort analysis, A/B testing, attribution, and campaign budget management.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering on growth experiments and tracking requirements.
  • Strong messaging instincts and an understanding of creator communities and digital entertainment.
  • Comfort working with incomplete data and changing priorities while maintaining clear accountability for outcomes.
