Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and qualified Head of Finance & Accounts to lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accounting requirements.
  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiency within the finance function.
  • Provide financial analysis and support effective management decision-making.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
  • ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the Trading industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.
  • Understanding of local GAAP requirements.
  • Strong team management and process improvement capabilities.
