Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive, persuasive, and results-driven Healthcare Sales & Marketing Executive to drive patient acquisition, increase clinic visibility, and grow revenue by attracting new patients.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for actively marketing the clinic’s services, generating patient enquiries, converting prospective patients into appointments, and implementing sales and marketing initiatives that encourage individuals to choose the clinic for their eye and dental care needs.
• This role is ideal for a hands-on sales and marketing professional who understands customer acquisition, can confidently engage potential patients, and is motivated by achieving measurable sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively promote the clinic’s eye care and dental services to prospective patients through direct marketing, field marketing, referrals, networking, and other customer acquisition channels.
• Generate leads and convert enquiries into confirmed appointments, consultations, and treatments.
• Educate prospective patients on the clinic’s services, treatment options, and appointment booking process, and direct clinical questions to qualified healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement promotional campaigns to encourage routine eye examinations, dental check-ups, preventive care, and other available services.
• Build relationships with individuals, families, community groups, and local businesses to increase awareness and generate patient referrals.
• Follow up with prospective patients who have made enquiries but have not booked appointments, helping to address non-clinical concerns and encourage appointment conversion.
• Identify opportunities to attract patients seeking private healthcare services and communicate the value, convenience, and quality of care offered.
• Collaborate with the clinic’s administrative and clinical teams to coordinate appointments and ensure a smooth transition from initial enquiry to clinic visit.
• Support digital marketing activities, including social media promotions, online enquiries, and advertising, where applicable.
• Track marketing leads, patient bookings, appointment attendance, conversion rates, and revenue generated from marketing activities.
• Prepare regular reports on patient acquisition, marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and progress towards sales targets.
• Ensure all marketing activities are professional, accurate, respectful of patient privacy, and consistent with applicable healthcare advertising requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Performance will be measured by the candidate’s ability to generate measurable growth in patient numbers and clinic revenue, including:
• New patient acquisition: Number of first-time patients generated through marketing activities.
• Self-paying patient growth: Increase in patients paying directly for consultations, examinations, and treatments.
• Lead conversion: Percentage of enquiries converted into confirmed appointments.
• Appointment attendance: Number of patients generated through marketing who attend their appointments.
• Revenue generation: Revenue attributable to marketing activities and new patient acquisition.
• Marketing effectiveness: Results achieved from field visits, promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and referral initiatives.
• Patient referrals: Number of new patients acquired through patient recommendations and referral activities.
• Target achievement: Consistent achievement of agreed monthly patient acquisition and revenue targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Mass Communication, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Previous experience in direct sales, field marketing, customer acquisition, or service marketing is required.
• Experience marketing healthcare services and medical sales
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, follow up with prospects, convert enquiries into paying customers, and achieve sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, persuasion, and customer engagement skills.
• Comfortable with fieldwork, face-to-face marketing, and direct engagement with prospective patients.
• Ability to use social media and other digital channels to generate enquiries and drive appointment bookings.
• Customer-focused, confident, proactive, and commercially minded.
• Good organisational, reporting, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in basic office applications and digital communication tools.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• The ideal candidate is a sales-oriented marketer who understands that success in this role goes beyond creating awareness.
• They must be able to identify prospective patients, communicate the value of the clinic’s services, follow up on enquiries, secure bookings, and contribute directly to revenue growth.
• We will consider candidates with experience in private healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical sales, optical retail, dental services, or other customer-facing industries where they have been responsible for generating paying customers.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: N120,000.
• Commission: Performance-based commission on qualifying sales and patient acquisition, based on an agreed commission structure.
• Salary will be reviewed after six (6) months, subject to performance and achievement of agreed targets.
