Victory Empowerment Centre is a microfinance Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with a prime objective of improving the lives of the poor men/women through innovative and flexible microfinance services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration: Maintain and update digital and physical employee files within our HRIS; track attendance, paid time off (PTO), and sick leave.
  • Recruitment: Post job openings on various career platforms, screen incoming resumes for basic qualifications, and coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Collect and verify new-hire paperwork (background checks, IDs, tax forms), coordinate orientation schedules, and assist with processing exit documentation.
  • Payroll & Benefits Support: Provide verified data to the payroll team (such as hours worked or unpaid leave) and assist employees with basic benefits enrollment paperwork.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for general staff questions regarding basic company policies, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager when necessary.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience.

Salary
N130,000 - N150,000 monthly.
